Casa Vaca

Tequesquitengo, Mexico
Architecture
In collaboration with CCA Studio
Sustainable housing project rendered in local stone and timber

Casa Vaca returns to the elemental: stone gathered from the surrounding hills, timber milled within a day’s drive, lime washes mixed by hand. The brief was to make a home that feels inseparable from its terrain.

Developed in collaboration with CCA Studio, the project balances vernacular construction methods with a contemporary spatial language — long horizontal eaves, deep loggias, and a procession of thresholds tuned to the Mexican sun.
