Where Do Children Learn?

Case study — Medellín, Colombia
Research
Diagrammatic urban network linking schools, plazas, and informal learning sites

A research project mapping where learning actually happens in a city — not only classrooms, but stoops, libraries, bus stops, plazas, the small geographies a child crosses each day.

Using Medellín as a case study, the work proposes reading the urban fabric as a distributed school, and asks designers to treat thresholds, sidewalks, and shade as pedagogical infrastructure.
